Waffle Knit Crewneck Sweater - Blue Heather

New to our fully fashioned sweater selection is the Waffle Knit Crewneck Sweater. The inspiration behind the sweater comes from some vintage Guernsey Sweaters we found. A lot of traditional Guernsey or Aran sweaters have dropped shoulders but we worked on all elements of construction to make the Waffle Knit modern and easy to wear year-round. It’s a relaxed fit with rib knit waist, sleeve cuff, and collar and features a regular armhole that hits slightly below the shoulder point. We knit the sweater using a 3-end, 2/16NM cotton/acrylic yarn at 60% cotton and 40% acrylic, which gives it a dense, structured hand without feeling heavy. The triple-end construction adds body and warmth, while the waffle texture creates visual depth and traps heat naturally. We started implementing cotton yarn blends in our sweater lineup because we found 100% wools to be impractical unless it’s super cold out. The blend is strong and warm but still breathes well so you won’t feel clammy wearing this. Instead of solid colors, we spun three yarn shades together to make our own heather grey combinations. The result of our own knit development and custom yarn blend, it delivers a structure and texture that set it apart from anything else in the market.
