Mr. Hobby SMS1 Mirror Silver Paint 18ml

This silver paint delivers a reflective, mirror-like finish. It is a specialized formula created specifically for use with airbrushes. This paint does not need to be thinned before use. When applied over a glossy surface, it creates a mirror-like silver finish. It will not produce a mirror effect if applied on a non-glossy surface. For the base coat, it is best to use Acrysion gloss colors, particularly black. After drying, Acrysion creates a solvent-resistant layer that is more durable than other paints. This helps the Mirror Silver paint stick effectively while maintaining a shiny finish. (Please note: this recommendation is for airbrush application only, as brushing may cause the higher solvent content to damage the Acrysion layer.) Let the Acrysion base coat dry for approximately 24 hours before applying the Mirror Silver paint. When spraying, avoid heavy application. Adjust the needle for a finer spray and apply the paint in thin, light layers. Applying too much paint at once can cause a whitish surface and diminish the mirror-like effect. After applying the Mirror Silver, let it dry completely for two days to one week.
