HERA - Fusion Frames NW Sculpture Repurposed 19th century Antique Frame (wood & gesso) acquired from an antiques merchant in the Rogue River Valley of Oregon unified with a spectacular Pine Tree Branch reclaimed from a lightning scarred and felled tree near Black Butte Oregon in the Jefferson National Forest. In Hera, I see a reflection of her namesake. As queen of the gods in Greek mythology, she embodies loyalty, dignity, and strength.
