Unlike a regular honing steel, this sharpening steel has extra fine grit made with diamond dust that sharpens knives faster than conventional sharpening stones. Because the grit is so fine, you can use this steel for regular honing or final polishing. Durable and long-lasting, the oval shaped sharpening steel has a secure grip with finger guards to protect your hands while sharpening. A ring attached to the end of the handle lets you hang the sharpener for easy storage. The oval diamond-coated sharpening steel is 20 mm in width and 17" long, and is NSF listed.
