Asanoka Organic Matcha

Asanoka Organic Matcha is our first single-cultivar organic matcha offering crafted specifically for daily use. This tea is produced by the father-and-son Yamaguchi family, whose tea-making roots in the Satsuma-Sendai region started in the 1970s. Their picturesque farm sits along the Sendai River, near Mt. Shibi, where they produce organic tea without any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. After the harvest, the tea is also processed entirely on their property, leaving no step of production to chance. The resulting matcha is vibrant, smooth, rich, and verdant—expressing the terroir that Kagoshima is known for and showcasing the Yamaguchi family’s dedication to organic craft production. Asanoka translates to ‘fragrance of morning’, making this tea the perfect choice for your daily ritual.
