TracTuff RBC/RBB Water Bypass Adapter

The TracTuff K20Z3/K24A2 water bypass adapter allows RAA, RBC, RBB, and RSP cylinder head owners to run the more popular aftermarket intake manifold options that were designed for the earlier PRB/PRC flange. The PRB/PRC style manifolds do not have an integrated coolant passage so the coolant bypass hole is left open when used together. If you're running a K24A2 head and wish to run the Skunk2 Ultra Street manifold or any other manifold with a K20A2 style flange, you'll either need to add on this piece, or tap the coolant hole in the side of the head and add your own fitting. If you're running our KPower Industries RBB intake manifold, this adapter is NOT needed. Even if you don't plan on running a PRB/PRC style manifold... there are plenty of benefits that make this product a must have! The biggest benefit is in the reduction of intake manifold temps by eliminating the heat transfer/ heat soak associated with hot coolant running through the manifold. The additional benefit of this piece is no longer having to drain the coolant when removing the intake manifold for maintenance or swaps. This kit ships standard with a 90 degree barbed lower fitting to the OEM K series thermostat bypass hose.
