When Grace Reached

This piece was inspired by the way grace often meets us in our most tender moments. There are times in life when we feel weary, hopeful, broken, or quietly searching, and yet those are often the moments when heaven feels closest. I wanted to capture that feeling of reaching upward and realizing that Christ is already reaching toward us. The light in this painting represents His presence, love, and mercy. Her expression is meant to reflect both longing and peace—the kind of emotion that comes when sorrow begins to give way to hope. To me, this image is a reminder that Christ does not stay distant from us. He comes near, meets us in our need, and lifts us with grace.
