The absence of recycled materials in our Conservation collection ensures the complete safety of your customer’s artwork. Conservation Single Mat Details: Our acid-free mat boards are sourced from Crescent’s industry-leading selection, ensuring consistency and precision from color to thickness. Standard mats are available in 4-ply unless otherwise noted. Conservation quality matboard is acid-free and lignin-free throughout the surface, with a white core and backing, unless otherwise noted. Mats are bevel cut at the opening unless otherwise specified. All Conservation Single Mats meet the conservation standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild. Mats are buffered with calcium carbonate to an alkaline reserve of 3-5% pH 8.5-9.5. We have curated the top sizes and colors within our assortment.
