Kateshi Anaerobic Natural

Kateshi Estate holds a unique place in Zambia’s coffee history. Founded in 1972 near the village of Kateshi, it became one of the earliest anchors of commercial coffee production in the country. For years, its wet mill served as the regional processing hub for northern Zambia while maintaining RFA Certification. What truly sets Kateshi apart, however, is how deeply the estate is woven into daily life for the surrounding community. The operation provides access to clean drinking water for more than 20,000 people and supports three schools that collectively educate over 1,500 students.
