Mounts using the upper cable support bolt and is protected by a machined 6061 aluminum piece. This billet piece is held in place with patented security fasteners requiring a bit that cannot be found in stores. Maximum security, easy no-drill installation. Think covering both is 'overbuilt', well here's one instance of the bottom fastener not being removed but the taillight gone. Includes 10 fasteners and 1 bit. Extra Bit not available Use this in conjunction with a tailgate theft prevention device like the Mcgard device to turn the cover on your six, up to eleven. Patent Pending *2023 and newer trucks may need to remove the tailgate tie-down points in order for the brackets to fit.
