Runaway is the floral that refuses to behave. Its heart is iris — but drawn from the root, so it reads earthy, creamy, and dry, with none of the powder or sweetness you might expect if you didn’t know better. Why 'Runaway': The iris is the wayward kid of the floral family — earthy and dry instead of sweet and powdery, drawn from the root (orris), and tied to the woods by a material literally called boisiris ("wood iris").
