We've re-casted the silver from the molds we used for the gold pieces - so you may notice slight differences from the original silver pieces.“This is my personal artist crest since my teenage years, inspired by my fascination with sea birds and their ability to glide with grace off the steep cliffs and over the tumultuous sea. They voyage with purpose, always bringing nourishment back to the island – a metaphor of the relationship between creator and creation. When I was younger I would paddle out to a little island at night and be so excited to watch them take flight in the morning light. Every detail in the design of this piece has a deep meaning woven into its composition - These details will be explained in a note to those who obtain the ring. This little crest will outlive me, for I am only a vessel that is always seeking the unknown. The message is to keep adventuring out and in, and always wield kindness. I am excited to have this finally on a ring, for now the spirit flies with you – in all the mountains you’ll climb, the sheet lines you’ll pull, the waves you’ll paddle into, the hands you’ll greet, the fruits you’ll open, the seeds you’ll plant and the art you’ll create." - Chris Miyashiro 7/7
