Charles Addams “Good to Be Alive” Birthday Card Set

These birthday cards feature Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, and Pugsley Addams looking out over a stormy day, with the caption: “Just the kind of day that makes you feel good to be alive!” The message inside reads “Happy Birthday!” One of America’s greatest humorists, Charles Addams (American, 1912–1988) made history with his irresistibly dark wit and uncommonly deft hand. As a cartoonist, he is best known for his eccentric Addams Family characters. Throughout his career, Addams was a marquee artist for The New York Times and The New Yorker, and the city itself, home for much of his life, was a character in his cartoons. The image is printed on sustainable sourced paper made of high-quality, 250 GSM card stock. The cards come with a matching soft white envelope. Card size: 5" x 7". Set of six cards and envelopes.
