A control array on your terms Equipped with eight motorized faders, the WMX Wing ensures precise positioning as you make changes to the show. Touch-sensitive caps and color-coded light strips beside each channel offer easy recall and visual feedback, while eight OLED displays label every parameter, keeping tabs on your entire production. Above them, a 40-button matrix commands eight fixture groups, accompanied by dedicated group keys, rotary encoders, Scroll and Fine-adjustment wheels, page arrows, and a master fader. Even while editing, the fader array instantly switches to the settings required by the task. Additionally, Control mode allows designers to choose from up to 680 fixtures by group, subgroup, and more, with adjustable dimming, color mixing, panning/tilting, zooming, iris, focus, and gobo/prism rotation. Each cue allows five compatible presets to be stacked, with dedicated Fade and Hold times, and can be triggered via the OK/Go button for automatic assignment or MIDI Time Code locking. Mapping is equally flexible, offering function assignment across four pages of faders and matrix buttons to build custom layouts for dimmers, presets, effects, cue lists, and more. Open controls can send standard MIDI messages to compatible audio, video, and production hardware or software. High capacity for connection This expansion controller's dual 3- and 5-pin DMX outputs can be assigned to any DMX universe, including both internal universes with 1,024 channels. Optional add-ons through the WTOOLS app increase capacity to four universes and 2,048 channels, and to eight universes when connected to a WMX1 controller via the USB-A port. Additionally, two USB-C ports accommodate data transfer and power. Internally, this unit can manage up to 680 fixtures, 1,500 beams, 50 fixture types, and 100 projects, with more than 30,000 fixture profiles available and over 3,000 stored directly on the controller.
