How to Choose Your Vertical Garden Drip Irrigation Kit Size For walls under 0.75 m tall, placing drippers along the top row of pots is usually enough. For walls over 0.75 m tall, add drippers to the top and middle rows for even watering. Use the Tap Distance guide to check you have enough hose to reach your vertical garden. If your tap is further away, add extra hose from our accessories. How many drippers do I need? Most vertical gardens only need one dripper per pot. For walls under 1.5 m tall, placing drippers along the top row is usually enough. For walls over 1.5 m tall, add drippers to the top and middle rows for even watering. My tap is 12 m from the wall. Which size should I choose? Choose the size that suits your wall, then add extra 4/7 mm hose to cover any extra distance from the tap. Can I add a timer later? Yes. The timer connects between the tap and the included pressure regulator.
