WBZ Surf / Skim Camps 2026

The Waterboyz Surf & Skim Camp is $200.00 Ages 7 and up and a good swimmer. *** Put your Camp attendees name(s) in the Notes section during checkout *** Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12noon. Waterboyz Surf & Skim camp is held on Pensacola Beach at Park East, which is about a mile East of Portofino just past the "S" curve. Camp size is limited per week. The participant must be at least 7 years old and a good swimmer. What to Bring: Lunch: There is a snack and water provided but no lunch. Equipment: We provide camp surfboards and skimboards. Proper Attire: Swim or surf trunks or proper fitting one or two-piece suit. A rash guard is recommended but not required and please bring a towel and a refillable water bottle. We will have Sun Bum sunscreen at our tent for your use or bring your preferred sunscreen. Details: Our instructors have years of experience surfing and skimming and are among the best surfers in Pensacola. Instructors teach campers both in groups and one on one. Campers will be taught proper techniques for paddling and surfing, ocean awareness concerning swell directions and rip currents, and proper etiquette in the line-up. Students that are progressing faster will be given additional advanced instructions on improving their surfing skills. For campers that are interested in learning skimboarding, the same instructions will ensue concerning skimboarding skills. There is usually a range of abilities in each session which really helps the kids to motivate each other. As we can not guarantee rideable surf daily, our teaching format is subject to change. Alternative programs such as paddle skills skimboarding, and beach games to improve board riding skills will be substituted if a flat spell or bad weather conditions occur. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt!
