Our TCA 10% peel contains Trichloroacetic Acid, also known as TCA, which is an effective chemical agent used to exfoliate and renew skin. TCA can be used to exclusively peel isolated areas of the skin, but it is important to note that with applying any peel, it is important to first begin building up the skin's tolerance by using a daily exfoliator for about a week prior to peel application. Higher strengths of TCA peels (20%+) are NOT recommended for darker skin tones due to increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
