This listing is for a handmade porcelain bowl that was thrown on the potters wheel. It was then bisque fired to 1900 degrees and glazed with an alabaster white glaze and layered with a number of blue glazes which drip and run into the center and then glaze fired to 2300 degrees. This bowl was made from a porcelain clay produced in small batches from a small clay and glaze company in Oregon. It is a beautiful, very fine and white clay that makes wonderful, eye catching dinnerware. The height and width of this bowl are surprisingly versatile for anything from a side dish to an entree and the subtle color palette will compliment any kitchen or table setting.
