This listing is for a handmade porcelain serving bowl. This bowl was made from a porcelain clay produced in Laguna that I special order. It is a beautiful, very fine and white clay that makes wonderful, eye catching dinnerware. After I threw this bowl, I trimmed a number of small steps on the outside wall coming up from the foot ring to create a cool and eye catching texture for the glaze to run down. Then I glazed it in a number of blue and green glazes which made really cool legs inside the bowl with little ghost puddles of red and different shades of green and blue. I did have a small problem with the glaze running too much and had to grind the ridges and foot and then re-fire the bowl again to get rid of the grind marks at the bottom.
