I wanted to design this to offer something contemporary; Combining classic 80s jewellery with dark vintage colours with a modern colourful twist. Simplicity goes along way with rings and when I drew this I wanted to ensure it would be a small fitting ring for two purposes. Firstly, I wanted a ring which is lightweight and wouldn't be a nuisance throughout the day. It needed to be able to withstand the challenges of everyday so if our customers are at work using a keyboard, working outside in the heat or wearing it to sleep. The ring needs to be able to lightweight and durable. :) We also designed it to be small and versatile. Perfect for men and woman and easy to add any gemstone. The Opal was selected because its colour combination is completely unique. I use a production assistant, Lindsey who I have worked with for 5 years. We are both on the same page and are focused on sustainability and unique designs. Whilst we use a production assistant, all of our designs are based on our drawings and designs which we have built with our own ideas.
