What is Nakdnu Pu'er Tea Resin? Pu’er Tea (pronounced poo-err or poo-air) is a unique type of fermented tea originating from Yunnan Province in China. Its fermentation process, akin to aging in wine, has a twofold effect – it gives the tea a complex and evolving flavour profile while enhancing its health properties. Tea Resins emerged during the illustrious Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). It was a remarkable tea-making technique where tea leaves were boiled and simmered until it transformed into a dense paste. This was later dried into a resin. This convenient form dissolves in hot water, meaning no more messy tea bags or loose tea leaves!
