Halcyon Cirque Touchpad Module

<p>The Halcyon Cirque Touchpad Module provides your Halcyon keyboard with a touchpad which acts as a pointing device. Use the temporary new <a href="https://canary.composer.splitkb.com/#/keyboard/halcyon-kyria" data-mce-href="https://canary.composer.splitkb.com/#/keyboard/halcyon-kyria">Canary version of the Composer</a> to configure your Halcyon keyboard.</p> <h2>Features</h2> <p>This module offers the following features:</p> <ul> <li>An original <strong>Cirque GlidePoint® trackpad</strong> with a <strong>diameter of 35mm</strong> provides a high-quality surface with high precision touch tracking.</li> <li>A <strong>custom-designed 3D-printed mount</strong> securely fixes the trackpad to your keyboard using a twisting ring, which doesn't require glue or friction-fit to work. This means you can reuse the trackpad easily, as disassembly won't damage any components.</li> <li>Compatible with the <strong>VIK standard</strong> by Sadek Baroudi, making it compatible with all Halcyon Series keyboards as well as other keyboards supporting the VIK standard.</li> </ul> <h2>Package contents</h2> <p>This module comes with its own mounting hardware and cable. Included in the package are:</p> <ul> <li>One <strong>Cirque GlidePoint® trackpad</strong>, 35mm diameter with a curved overlay, communicates in SPI mode (product number TM035035-2024-003).<br> </li> <li>One <strong>custom MJF 3D-printed mount</strong> consisting of a base and a ring, which locks the trackpad in place.</li> <li>Two <strong>flexible flat cables</strong> with a length of 80mm, with 12 pins in a 0.5mm pitch, with the connectors on the same side (A-type). One cable is needed, the second one is included as a spare.</li> <li>Three <strong>brass spacers</strong> with a length of 6mm. Two are needed to mount the module to the keyboard, a third is provided as a spare part.</li> <li>Five flat-head <strong>M2 screws</strong> with a length of 4mm. <meta charset="utf-8">Four are needed to mount the module to the keyboard, the fifth is provided as a spare part.</li> </ul> <p><meta charset="utf-8"><meta charset="utf-8">Some of the mounting hardware needed is provided as part of the Halcyon keyboard kit.<br></p> <h2>Using the module</h2> <p>You can use up to one module per half of your Halcyon keyboard. You can <strong>use up to one of this module</strong> at the same time, on both the left and right half of your keyboard. If you use two of this module, they will both perform the same actions.</p> <p>The working of this module cannot be customised using Vial firmware.
