While our 21oz Selvedge Tokyo Jeans were built around heavy slub texture and rugged character, our 15oz Kuroki Selvedge Chinos take a more refined approach—featuring a cleaner face, tighter weave, and more uniform surface that highlights the silhouette of the chino itself. As a finishing touch, this production features a specialty orange selvedge ID woven exclusively for this fabric by Kuroki Mills. The result is a denim that feels substantial and structured from day one, but with a smoother hand and more classic appearance. The deep indigo dye and dense weave create a rich, inky finish that will gradually soften and reveal beautiful vintage-inspired fades with wear. Timeless, structured, and built to age gracefully—this is our interpretation of classic Japanese Selvedge Denim. ______ Please Read (Raw Selvedge Care Instructions) We intentionally left these jeans raw, unwashed, and untreated to allow the denim to fade naturally with wear. For the best results, avoid washing for the first few months. This allows the raw denim to break in naturally over time and minimizes shrinkage. With proper care, these pants will become more personal, more comfortable, and better fitting over time. The longer you wait to wash them, the more personalized and rewarding the fade pattern will become. If you must wash, turn the garment inside out, hand wash with cold water and minimal soap, then hang dry. Do not machine wash or machine dry.
