The Malibu, Reimagined (in Japanese Crosshatch Linen). Introducing the Malibu Linen Pants II, now cut from premium 9oz Japanese crosshatch linen. It’s been over a year since we released this pant because we wanted to find the right 100% linen fabric. It needed to be breathable, but also structured enough to hold its shape. At Pool House, fabric and fit go hand in hand. The material needed to support the silhouette we spent so much time designing. This year’s linen does exactly that. Its distinctive crosshatch weave gives the fabric a beautiful texture, while its 9oz weight provides the structure that defines the Malibu’s shape. The result is a clean silhouette similar to our Shibuya Straight-Wide Pants, with the breathability of pure linen. Substantial yet breathable, this year’s Malibu feels as appropriate for dinner in the city as it does for a day at the beach. A versatile pant that looks put together wherever you wear it. Lastly, we refined the fit. This year's Linen Malibu has a slightly narrower leg opening, bringing the proportions closer to our Shibuya Straight-Wide Pants while maintaining the relaxed feel of the original.
