The Carolina mantis reaches 2 - 3 inches when full grown and ranges in color from dusty gray to brown and green. Please note- we cannot accept color requests when ordering. It lives in a large area of the United States and is probably the most common species of mantis used for garden pest control. If you are keeping these as pets, please have food on hand when your new pets arrive. They are voracious eaters! For these juveniles, we recommend the flightless fruit flies along with other supplements such as silkworms. We offer both. Our juveniles are typically L2 - L4, meaning they have molted 1-3 times.
