PatulEND® is the only product authorized by the FDA orphan product division (1994) exclusively for the treatment of the Patulous Eustachian Tube. Our standard formula is completely drug-free and is recommended for adults who may be taking other, competing medications against the sealing of the Eustachian Tube (namely: nasal or oral steroids, antihistamines, nasal decongestant combinations, estradiol – an estrogen hormone, and especially Prednisone injections for arthritis of the hips or knees. If introducing a competing treatment such as Prednisone, plan an additional daily application until at least a week after the final injection, giving the formula time to absorb into the system again. This product is recommended for adults. For children, the milder PatulEND®10 formula is available. For exceptionally wide Eustachian tube openings, the concentrated PatulEND®20 formula is available.
