The Yale Shirt in Midnight Plaid

We worked really hard to perfect the Yale shirt. OCBDs are a very personal thing and folks can have strong opinions on details and fit. As with all things we’ve learned that the path of most resistance is usually the right answer. So we took the time to get the details correct even though they take a long time to sew and we spent money on materials that aren’t immediately obvious. Single needle construction, purl stitch buttonholes, thick “patina” buttons with ascolite shanks, locker loop and box pleats, third collar buttons, side seam gussets, triangular placket hem, a generous collar and button placement to provide a lovely roll, all sewn together with ecru cotton wrapped poly core thread for incredible strength and a classic matte thread finish that ages and wears with the 100% cotton Japanese typewriter cloth that is light and very crisp. All made in Bridgeport Connecticut. Ask yourself, with all the thoughts you may have about Connecticut, would you rather your Oxford shirts be made anywhere else?
