Supplies power for Electret mic used on UE + mic comms headset, V3 (Version 3) has a 3V rechargeable lithium battery – Micro USB charge with LED indicator light and a pot to lower volume when necessary. – comes with an 18″ TA5F to TA5F cable to connect to an adapter *Micro USB charging cable (to charge the EPB) and Micro Phillips-head screwdriver (to adjust volume on the volume pot) are NOT included.  **All EPBs and their included EPB Cables are non-serviceable in the field – opening or tampering with the product in any way immediately voids any warranty for repair or replacement.
