L-Leucine is an essential amino acid. It is also one of the three constituents of BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), and it is integral to muscle formation. In times of trauma or stress L-Leucine is an excellent source for energy production. Jo Mar's L-Leucine is 100% pure U.S.P. grade crystalline free form. The powder is not water soluble, has a bitter taste and weighs about 3.4 grams per level measuring teaspoon.
