Titanium anodizing is an electrolytic finishing process that manipulates the oxide layer on the surface of titanium via electric current, causing the jewelry to change colors! It is totally safe and still keeps the integrity of the quality of titanium. It does not affect its properties or make it less safe for healing piercings! Keep in mind, this color can eventually fade over time and "shades" can vary per piece! This is a great alternative to people who want a "gold" look without paying gold prices!
