June 2026 Park Rapids Driver's Ed (IN PERSON)

June 2026 Park Rapids Driver's Ed (IN PERSON) Classes will be held in the Park Rapids Furniture Center @ 1104 Park Ave South.   Class communication will occur  via the remind app. I will text everyone the link to join 2 weeks prior to class starting.  If you do not have this app please download it when you register. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class. If you are 14 years old or older, you may sign up for a driver's education class. Students who are 14 years old must wait until they are 15 years old to take the knowledge test. Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Session 1: Mon     June 1st    9am-12pm  Session 2: Tue       June 2nd   9am-12pm  Session 3: Wed     June 3rd     9am-12pm  Session 4: Thu      June 4th     9am-12pm   Session 5: Fri       June 5th     9am-12pm  Session 6: Mon    June 8th   9am-12pm  Session 7: Tue      June 9th   9am-12pm  Session 8: Wed    June 10th   9am-12pm  Session 9: Thu     June 11th   9am-12pm  Session 10:Fri      June 12th   9am-12pm  Upcoming VIRTUAL Parent Meetings via ZOOM: Monday July 27th 6-7:30pm. Parents and students should both attend, but the parent meeting is optional. Attendance is very important.  State law requires students have 30 hours of classroom instruction before a Blue Card can be issued.  If a student misses a class, make-up classes must be attended in the next available class. I strongly suggest perfect attendance.  If you have a scheduling conflict due to extracurricular activities, call me and we will find a solution. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class.
