The Gambit Jumper is an oversized piece consisting of stockinette and reverse stockinette stitches, made using the intarsia technique. It is knitted flat and then later assembled. Gauge (after blocking): In stockinette stitch (using 5.5mm US 9 needles): 18 sts / 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches. In twisted rib stitch (using 4.5mm US 7 needles): 20 sts / 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches. Materials: Work the jumper using one strand of any Aran weight yarn - (10ply 8wpi). NOTE! The jumper primarily uses two yarn colours (Yarn A and Yarn B), but feel free to use more than two colours or even one colour throughout.
