Donation Toward Medical Care

In short, the past few years have kicked my ass.   In 2020 I suffered a collapsed artery that cut off blood flow to my internal organs. It had started slowly a year and a half prior to being diagnosed and by the time it was found internal damage had already begun. Two surgeries were performed at Mayo Clinic which came with a new set of problems.   After two years of intense pain it was discovered that the artery had recollapsed and was now encased in scar tissue preventing a clear solution. Mayo Clinic gave a very poor prognosis so I decided to have surgery with one of the leaders in the condition in Houston Texas.   In 2023 I had surgery again which included opening up my abdomen, fixing the artery and removing my celiac ganglion. The procedure left me hospitalized for weeks and it took months to recover.   Now in 2025, new issues related to the previous surgeries have presented themselves. The doctors are stumped. I’ve had procedure after procedure filled with red flag after red flag but no clear diagnosis or explanation as to what’s happening. It is believe that the current situation is due to the part of my nervous system that was removed growing back as well as scar tissue around my pancreas causing it to malfunction. I am stuck in a very hard position of having to make a choice between a high risk surgery or delaying care to search for an alternative prognosis/more definite answer.   The reason I run this shop is because health issues prevent me from being able to work a normal job. I have spent an enormous amount of money on medical care over the years. I don’t have a way around it. It has slowed down every aspect of my life and I am doing my best to keep up. I temporarily lost my health insurance in June and the insurance company decided to backdate the coverage leaving me financially responsible for all procedures the previous two months  If you read all that, thank you. If you didn’t that’s ok but all I can say is this shit sucks. I’m doing what I can to survive and I’m immensely thankful to all of you who support this shop in every way that you do. I’m just some dumb fan who used the love of a lot of the things I’ve been a fan of over the years to get me through hard times. Again, I really can’t thank you all enough.
