The Short Sleeve Work Shirt - Navy Linen

We wanted to make a true summer version of the kind of shirt we are known for. Something lighter and more breathable for the warmest days of the year, while still carrying the durability and attention to detail that defines every Heat Straps garment. Finding the right fabric took time. We were able to source an incredible yarn-dyed linen canvas from Japan, woven using European-grown flax. It combines some of the finest linen fibers in the world with the precision and craftsmanship of Japanese textile mills. The result is a fabric that is breathable, naturally textured, and built to soften and develop character with every season of wear. The two solid colorways are made from this Japanese linen canvas, while the plaid version is cut from a 100% cotton fabric woven in Japan. To complement the lighter fabric, we developed a new solid brass snap specifically for this shirt. It is slightly smaller and features a lighter snap tension than the hardware used on our heavier garments, making it easier to use while remaining every bit as durable as solid brass should be. Every shirt is cut and sewn in New Jersey in limited quantities. Built to be worn through the hottest days of summer, repaired if needed, and enjoyed for years to come.
