<p>The long-awaited Intrepid 8x10 Black Edition retains the classic features of all Intrepid Cameras but has a sleek, modern look. Produced primarily from high quality 3D printed parts and anodised aluminium making this camera the premium Intrepid 8x10 camera.<br><br data-mce-fragment="1"><strong>Please note: Lens, lens boards and fresnel screen not included.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Features</strong></p> <p><br data-mce-fragment="1">Accuracy and precision is key with this camera, without sacrificing simplicity. The front standard features a ruled guide and zeroing stops, allowing the user to fine tune movements and for ease when zeroing.</p> <p><br data-mce-fragment="1">As with all current Intrepid’s the front standard features a full range of independently controlled rise/fall, tilt, shift and swing movements. While the rear standard has a wide range of tilt both ways.</p> <p><br data-mce-fragment="1">Whilst being our lightest ever 8x10 at 2.7kg the camera is incredibly sturdy and secure when set up and locked down. We have introduced a new thicker aluminium base and the precision ground stainless steel linear focus rails ensure maximum stability no matter how heavy a lens you use.</p> <p><br data-mce-fragment="1">The focus mechanism runs on linear guides for pin-sharp focusing adjustments. Controlled from the rear which is quick to use when under a dark cloth, the focus will lock as soon as you stop turning making it quicker than most traditional cameras.</p> <p><br data-mce-fragment="1">The rear standard is held securely in place with strong magnets and reinforced by 2 lockable clips on each side. Simply slide the clips up and you can remove the back for fast shifting between landscape and portrait.</p> <p> </p> <p>The ground glass is super bright with a half-inch grid and we have an additional fresnel that can be purchased as an add-on, a particularly useful feature with wide-angle lenses.</p> <p><br></p> <p>You can use all standard copal shutter style 8x10 lenses from 180mm-480mm. You can also use lenses mounted on Intrepid 4x5 lens boards with the Intrepid lens board adapter.</p> <p> </p> <p>When not in use the camera can be folded flat making it really easy to transport.<br></p> <p> </p> <p data-mce-fragment="1"> </p>
