Allyl Amyl Glycolate is the classic top note pineapple material that adds an inimitable glitter and sparkle to fragrances, masculine and feminine (and unisex of course). It's synergy with Dihydromyrcenol is legendary — by way of example you can try this classic sparkling lavender top note: 120 Lavender “Signature” Oil, LMR60 Dihydromyrcenol4 Allyl Amyl Glycolate1 Spearmint “Signature” Oil While this material is usually dosed extremely low, it has been used to great effect in overdose in such fragrances as Green Irish Tweed (1985) by Creed where perfumer Pierre Bourdon used it at an astonishing 3%; see our demonstration formula below.
