The league was short-lived and lasted only one season, but the Larks continued on as a barnstorming team — traveling the U.S. and Canada and playing wherever they could find opponents. Lionel Wilson, a future mayor of Oakland, and Sam Jones, a two-time major league All-Star, both pitched for the Larks in the NLB era. The Larks played their home games at Emeryville Park, also known as Oaks Park and the Oakland Baseball Park.
