Medieval Arming Sword Type XIV (Type 14) Sword 1270-1350 This medieval historical replica sword comes complete with a period appropriate leather covered, wood cored scabbard and belt with copper alloy fittings. Sword is hand forged, hardened and tempered from EN45 steel and comes semi-sharp as standard. For Medieval reenactment.  Popular in most of Western Europe, this style of short double edged sword was a favourite of Men at Arms and foot soldiers of a good status, but not high enough to be of the knightly class and although very few exist in collections they are commonly seen in art of the time.
