German chamomile bears an intense ink-blue colour (hence its nickname of blue chamomile or chamomile blue oil). It has wonderfully sweet notes making it a hidden gourmand treasure. Our German chamomile is from a single estate in England, a nation that is regarded as the finest source of this oil. Unlike most commercial blue chamomiles which can be quite heavy, ours practically dances. It is delicate and refined - a real treasure. We love this quality of oil so much that it is the only German chamomile we use in our products.
