Intensely animal. Those two words really do sum up this powerful chemical. Para Cresol is one of the most versatile materials, finding use as a floraliser in the direction of narcissus and an animaliser; without it such magnificent bases such as Jasmin Blanc, Animalia® CMP and Animusk™ Extra wouldn't exist. Under IFRA 51 this has been restricted to a tiny 0.005% but its power makes it still a fully useful material even at that level. It is perhaps one of the least common "essentials".  Due to its potency, we sell Para Cresol in a 10% solution with DPG. If you want something kinder and gentler, we recommend the ester of this alcohol: Para Cresyl Caprylate.
