Description and usage notes: Description from Givaudan: “Odor: Floral, Jasmine, Fruity. Use: Jasmatone has a floral aromatic jasmin note, diffusive and warm with a hint of fruit. Jasmatone is very good floraliser, suitable for jasminic, floral and fruity fragrances. It has good chemical stability and is particularly effective in toilet soaps.”  Arctander suggests that it: “It blends well with the heavy fruity notes from Undecanolide and the musky notes from Ethylene brassylate or newer synthetic musks. Ionones and particularly Methylionones supply very good background for this Jasmone-derivative.”
