We currently have three alternative forms of Calone available: undiluted crystals - this product 50% in TEC  20% in DPG So if you’re looking for a direct replacement for Calone 161 then we recommend 50% in TEC to avoid needing to adjust your formulas, however if you are comfortable handling solid perfumery materials you may prefer this product.  All of them are made with original Firmenich material. Description and usage notes: The classic fresh, watery, marine note used in many modern compositions.   This version is original Firmenich calone crystals undiluted. Writing in 1985 Arcadi Boix Camps talks about a group of materials he calls ‘melon fruitals’: “... which includes products as extraordinary as ... cis-6-nonenol, Melonal, Floralozone, Helional and the extraordinary Calone”  He adds “I wish to insist that Helional and Calone, already described, are products of infinite quality, whose creative possibilities are likewise infinite.” Calone is included in 100 Essential Aroma Chemicals Kit One and also in the Blending Kit in liquid form
